About Me

My journey into the world of computing began in the early 1990s. As a kid I enjoyed playing computer games, and wanted to be able to build my own. So I began learning QBasic to program text adventure games, and drew graphics and animations for the games in a funky old DOS program. Eventually I moved on to C++ and programming small Windows games.
My professional career as a developer began years later, when I was introduced to Flash and realized that it was the game development tool I had always wanted as a kid. Drawing vector animations and bringing them to life with object-oriented code was an exciting new world that seemed to hold endless possibilities. I made some Flash games in college, and soon embarked on a career as a Flash developer.
Around 2015 I began working primarily with HTML5 and JavaScript/TypeScript in my professional life, and have continued doing so in different roles until now. In 2018 I started working with Unity and C#, and since then I’ve been using Unity for my game projects.
Today I’m focused primarily on game development with Unity and C#.
